!! AMBER ALERT !!

Have you seen my daughter? Last seen by her dad at the license bureau Aug. 28th paying taxes and registration for her new car. Rumored to have stopped by and done some laundry, but no eye witnesses. Was also rumored to have requested gas money from her mother but did not show up to get the money, this is when we really got concerned.
If you see her or know her whereabouts, please have her call her dad or come home.

Thank You...
To everyone that worked the fair this year, THANK YOU VERY MUCH. A very special thank you to my day crew, Sam, Hillen, Burch, Lotz, Queen, Rog and the Rog boys. Thanks to everyone that covered for me when I went down on Friday and Saturday.
So far I have not heard any negative reports. The artists were all very thankful when they left. Stage company and Promoter all had good things to say.
358 days until the stage goes up for 2009. As far as I know, I will be back for #28.
Again, thank you.

takin' it for the team...
Hot shot to first, bad hop, takes his glove off, hits him in the mouth, he spins to the ground, down on all fours, he finds the ball, picks it up and dives to first to get the out. Nice job Bud!
Oh yea, the next day he had to have an infusion. He took that well to.

It really is a small world...I just do not want to paint it

This weekend a group of four went to Solola Guatemala for the weekend. We went down to do a survey trip for "Operation Security Blanket". Eagles Nest Children's Home is located here and we are planning do to an install of security equipment in the home to help protect the children. More on this project at hillenblog.com.
Back to the small world... as we were driving up the mountain from Panajachel back to Solola, we stopped to take some pictures. As we were stopped, the other van from the children's home stopped to say hi. As we were talking, someone in the van said, "is that guy's last name Mills?". We were not for sure what to think. I opened the door to the van and in the back seat was my friend Russ Robinson. Russ and I grew up together on Bull Shoals lake in MO. We have been friends as long as I can remember. He and his wife now live in Austin TX.
I will let someone calculate the odds of running in to someone you know in a foreign country.
